Line U9: Amrumer Strasse
Line U6: Leopoldplatz



Public Transport
Beuth University is best available by public transport. We recommend to use the underground lines U6 or U9.

Stations are: Amrumer Strasse (U9) and Luxemburger Strasse (U6 and U9). Please note that U6 is currently interrupted between the stations Friedrichstrasse und Franzoesische Strasse (2 minutes walking distance). Trains leave every 3-5 minutes.
Tickets: You could choose (multiple) single or a day ticket which can be purchased at ticket machines (available in every underground station).
Single Tickets entitle you to travel with any number of changes towards your destination via a direct travel route or one necessitated by works or other network alterations. They are valid for a maximum of two hours. You can use the buses, trams and urban rail and underground trains of all transport companies within the Berlin fare zones (A, B and C), including regional rail transport and ferries.
Beuth University is located in fare zone B. If you travel within Berlin to Beuth University you have to purchase tickets for zones AB (single trip ticket 2,60 Euro; 4 trip ticket 8,80 Euro; 1 day ticket 6,70 Euro.) Ticket prices might increase slightly please check at

Hotel booking
We tried to get special rates for AWEC 2013 at selected hotels, but we figured out that booking engines like www.trivago.de, www.hrs.de, www.booking.com got better prices. Therefore we recommend that you book your hotel with a booking engine.
If you plan your stay please note the event places:
Reception on September 9th will be at the Potsdamer Platz. If you plan to stay close to the Potsdamer Platz at the City East (Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, Gendamenmarkt, Hackescher Markt) you will be close (maybe within 1-2 stops by S-Bahn) to the station Friedrichstrasse to access U6 (direction: Alt-Tegel) to Beuth University (station: Amrumer Strasse).
AWEC will take place at Beuth University, Luxemburger Str. 10, best reachable by U6 and U9 (see Public Transport). If you plan to stay at the City-West (Kurfuerstendamm, Gedaechtniskirche, Zoo) U6 (direction: Osloer Strasse) will bring you directly to Beuth University (station: Luxemburger Str.).
